Victoria’s intellectual property experience includes conducting IP due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions, managing global trademark portfolios, and handling clearance and enforcement matters.
Before joining Masuda Funai, Victoria practiced at several Chicago firms, where she drafted and negotiated a wide range of commercial agreements, including IP licenses, SaaS and cloud services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, consulting and master services agreements, purchasing contracts, data-sharing and data-processing agreements, and equipment sales and rental agreements. She also conducted vendor-risk assessments, supported cross-functional procurement and IT initiatives, and advised on privacy requirements, and the legal and ethical considerations associated with artificial intelligence use.
