Victoria Pacey-Minneman focuses her practice on commercial and intellectual property transactions, including the sale of goods and technology-driven business arrangements. She advises clients on complex commercial matters and regularly drafts and negotiates distribution agreements, terms and conditions, equipment rental and sales agreements, in-service support agreements, and nondisclosure, confidentiality, and technology-related agreements across a wide range of industries, including energy, manufacturing, chemicals, consumer products, life sciences, media, and technology.

Victoria’s intellectual property experience includes conducting IP due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions, managing global trademark portfolios, and advising on trademark clearance and enforcement matters. She works closely with clients to protect, strengthen, and grow their brands.
Before joining Masuda Funai, Victoria practiced at several Chicago-based law firms, where she drafted and negotiated a broad range of commercial and technology agreements, including IP licenses, SaaS and cloud services agreements, consulting and master services agreements, purchasing contracts, data-sharing agreements, and equipment sales and rental agreements. She also conducted vendor risk assessments and supported cross-functional procurement and IT initiatives.
In addition to her commercial and intellectual property practice, Victoria has a strong personal and professional interest in equine law and enjoys working with clients in the equine industry on matters involving business operations, branding, and contractual relationships.
