The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic complications have impacted employees and management in numerous ways. In response, the federal government has passed legislation providing emergency and expanded FMLA and sick leave rights, and state governments have adopted extensive requirements and guidelines for re-opening and continuing office, factory and warehouse operations during the ongoing pandemic. In this virtual seminar, Nancy and John will discuss many related employment law issues, including workplace preparedness, reductions in force, employee testing, employee leaves of absence, employee travel, when employers can require quarantine, working from home and related school and parenting issues, and recent COVID-19 employment litigation.
