On October 3, 2025, Masuda Funai hosted its second Benkyo Kai seminar "Understanding Unique U.S. Workplace Laws in Japanese!" in Novi, MI. The session focused on “Power Harassment in the Workplace Increasing Allegations“. It was led by our attorney Hirokazu Kishinami, and he explained how “power harassment in the workplace” recognized as a serious social issue in Japan, is recognized in the U.S. He also introduced cases often faced by Japanese companies and discussed five risk reduction strategies for employers in Japanese.
As in the previous session, this interactive, small-group study session was fully registered and attended with 21 participants, including C-suite executives and HR leaders. The event featured lively discussion and numerous questions exchanged up until the end.
