Masuda Funai Hosted the 2025 Employment Seminar

Masuda, Funai, Eifert & Mitchell, Ltd. hosted its annual Employment Seminar at the DoubleTree Hotel in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The seminar was attended by 73 executives, professionals, and managers from corporations, universities, banks, and consulting and accounting firms for a full day of timely legal updates and practical guidance on critical employment issues.

The program opened with a panel on Employment Law Updates, featuring Riebana Sachs on federal developments, Patrick Kelly on Illinois updates, and John Stanis addressing updates in Michigan and California.

The second panel, Employment Law in the Age of AI: Risks, Rights and Regulations, was presented by Frank Del Barto and Riebana Sachs, who examined the challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies in the workplace.

This was followed by The Current State of DEI in the Workplace, presented by Naureen Amjad and Riebana Sachs, which highlighted current trends and evolving best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
