VISA BULLETIN FOR NOVEMBER 2015
The Department of State (DOS) released the Visa Bulletin for the month of November. UPDATE: The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will make the final decision on whether a green card is available. A week after the DOS issues the Visa Bulletin the USCIS will issue its own separate publication at: www.uscis.gov/visabulletininfo indicating visa availability for the following month. Below is a summary of employment-based green card categories listing "Final Action Dates" and "Dates For Filing."
"Final Action Dates" = individuals with priority dates before the dates listed in the chart below have a green card available to them during the month of November, therefore, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) may take final action and approve their green card application.
"Dates for Filing" = individuals with priority dates before the dates listed in the chart below are eligible to file their green card applications during the month of November. When their priority dates advance to the "Final Action Dates" the USCIS will be able to approve their green card application.
