Masuda Funai Showcases Excellence in Litigation Win March 2017

CHICAGO – On March 15, 2017, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee rejected an auto parts manufacturer's bid seeking an arbitration mandate over a supply agreement with a former partner's ex-president. United States District Judge, Thomas A. Varlan, concluded the auto parts manufacturer wasn't automatically entitled to arbitration. Rein Krammer of Masuda Funai, the attorney representing the former partner's ex-president, Yang Koo Woo, told Law360 that his client believes the allegations to be baseless and looks forward to his day in court.
