CHICAGO – On February 28, 2017, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, following a bench trial, entered judgment on Defendants' counterclaim in favor of Masuda, Funai, Eifert & Mitchell, Ltd.'s Russian-based business client in an ownership dispute concerning a limited liability company engaged in the manufacturing of industrial glue. In the Order granting judgment for our client, the Court ruled that there was no merit in the Defendants' claim that client's equity in the company had been diluted under the terms of the company operating agreement given the parties' course of conduct.
