Masuda Funai Hosts 2019 Litigation Practice Group Seminar

On April 18, 2019, Masuda Funai hosted its Litigation Practice Group seminar to assist clients in protecting their company assets, both inventory and intellectual property.

The program included a presentation on Importing Products Into the United States – Tariffs, Duties and Seizures given by Asa Markel and Jiwon Yhee; Steven Katz and Michael Golenson spoke on Reducing Patent Litigation Risks and Avoiding Licensing Problems; and a panel discussion focused on Trade Secrets: Keeping the Secrecy, speakers included John Stanis, David Stein, Yulia Chembulatova, and Lisa Dreishmire moderated.

The event was held at the Forum Conference Center in Schaumburg, Illinois and attendees included C-Suite Executives, Associate Counsel, General Counsel and Corporate Legal Counsel. The program was well received by attendees and several mentioned that it was an “very informative” and “brought to my attention so many things I never considered” providing real life examples in an engaging way.
