Koichiro Sato, Visiting Foreign Attorney at Masuda, Funai, Eifert & Mitchell Ltd., has been formally admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Mr. Sato’s admission ceremony was held remotely (due to COVID-19 restrictions) by the State of New York, Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department. Mr. Sato's membership in the State Bar of New York is effective as of April 19, 2021.

Mr. Sato is an Associate Attorney with Abe, Ikubo & Katayama, where he specializes in international legal matters. His practice focuses on a broad range of corporate matters, including restructuring and insolvency cases. Abe, Ikubo & Katayama was founded by the representative partner, Shogo Abe, in 1959.
