On Wednesday, March 31, 2021, Bob White, Principal of Masuda Funai's Immigration Practice Group, conducted an immigration workshop for the Illinois Institute of Technology (“IIT”) entitled "Virtual Immigration Update Workshop for International Students." More than 150 international students and faculty attended the webinar that covered immigration laws affecting international students. Bob provides immigration counseling for numerous universities and is also a member of the leadership team of the NAFSA: Association of International Educators' Region V.

In 1890, IIT was founded to provide an education to students of all backgrounds in preparation for meaningful roles in a changing industrial society. Rankings based on the United States Department of Education College Scorecard, which offers the public access to years of federal government data on U.S. colleges and universities, show that more than 130 years later, IIT is still fulfilling its mission to provide a working and learning environment in which all members of the community are able to realize their full potential. Based in the global metropolis of Chicago, IIT is the only technology-focused university in the city. It offers degrees in engineering, science, architecture, business, design, human sciences, applied technology and law.
