The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (“CARES”) Act was signed into law on March 27, 2020. In this virtual seminar, Jennifer and Frank will review the major features of the CARES Act and its impact on employer-sponsored group health insurance plans, cafeteria plans, and 401(k) plans. In addition, recognizing that employee layoffs may continue in 2020 and beyond, Jennifer and Frank will review the potential impact of layoffs on a company’s 401(k) plan and the need to vest affected employees. Finally, they will review the increased interest in various executive compensation plans which are being implemented to retain and reward senior managers and executives.
