The Intersection Between Employment and Immigration Law; Special Considerations When Employing Foreign Nationals

  • Are employers required to complete I-9s for expats?
  • Can we exclude expats from our 401(k) plan?
  • What steps should we take if we receive information that an employee is using someone else's Social Security number?
  • Can remote employees email copies of their documents for I-9 verification purposes?
