Jason Metnick is a business litigator and trial lawyer. He counsels companies with commercial disputes involving complex business transactions, with a particular emphasis in assisting multinational companies in the manufacturing, automotive, and logistics industries. Mr. Metnick has obtained favorable results and settlements in a high percentage of cases in Illinois state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He regularly defends companies and represents them in mediation and arbitration proceedings throughout the United States. He counsels clients on resolution of day-to-day business disputes, partnership and agency disputes, as well as employment disputes, real estate disputes, and ownership disputes that arise from secured transactions.
Mr. Metnick is currently the Executive Secretary of the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association and has served as a director and chair of the Corporate Practice Committee. He also currently acts as pro bono counsel to Lawyers for the Creative Arts.
